Hi
just surfing in from Cheles blog ..What a cute little guy Sean is ....
My son also has partial complex seizures he is 24 years old now and I seen his first seizure when he was about 2yrs but the doctors thought it was from a fever even though he wasn't really very sick...
then his teacher seen him have one at school when he was in the 1st grade and we went to the nero docs and found out after his EEG he was having them quite often, we just couldn't see them.. after spending a few years trying to find the right medication without bad side effects...I finally said enough is enough and told the docs I wanted to try him med free... he has been off medication for at least 10 years and the seizures seem to have really slowed down.. I could tell as he got older, when he was having them.. he will stop talking in mid sentence, for a few seconds and then continue what he was saying when the seizure was over... He is also developmentally delayed and will never drive a car so total control isn't really to much of a issue for him although I still worry, but the meds definantly were worse for him ..
I am wondering is there a connection between strokes and partial complex seizures ??

I read your post right before this one about the sensory issue and while I haven't had trouble getting my Andrew to eat... when he was little (and even now a little bit) He WOULD NOT wear new clothes, they had to sit in his dresser forever for him to even try them on... I think it had to do with sensory issues I have brought up to the docs that I think he has a form of autisum but the all say no, but I am not convinced there is something with that but the docs don't see it..
As for Sean not eating dinner..I wouldn't make to much of a issue of it.. I have a 2year old little boy almost 3 and I swear I don't know what he survives on sometimes, he eats so little... from the sounds of it Sean is eating more at breakfast and lunch then Rylan eats in 2 days and I am not kidding ...
I am Happy to have found your blog and plan on being a regular reader ...
